option と choice の違いは、option を「決定権（もしくは選択権）」、choice を「決定（もくしは選択）」と訳するとわかりやすくなります。

to have an option for は、売買契約で使われるフレーズで、ある品物を一定の期間内は合意の値段で買う権利をもらうことです。
