「筆記体」の英訳は cursive style や regular handwriting、running hand などがあてられています。
では「筆記体で」はどう訳すのでしょうか？
もはや絶滅危惧種？ 「筆記体で」は in をつけて…
06年10/21付けのジャパンタイムズウイークリーに筆記体についての記事がありました。
in cursiveと訳してあります。
最近はキーボードでの文書作成が一般的になりすぎて、手書きの筆記体を書けない生徒がアメリカでも増えているそうです。
「サインの時だけしか使わないんだから、筆記体を習う意味はあるの？」なんて意見もあるようですが…。
ちょっと長いですが、見出しから引用してみます。

「約150万人のうちのわずか15パーセント」という数字は面接のときデータとして使えるかもしれませんね。
ちなみに cursive をロングマン英々辞典で調べてみると・・・
cursive adj
( of writing ) written in a flowing rounded style with the letters joined together
in the style of handwriting rather than printing
・・・と説明されています。
これはそのまま筆記体の説明でもあります。

とか、うまいこと言いますねぇ。（当たり前？）
こういうのがパッと英語で言えるようになれば、英語脳がだいぶ発達したことになると思うんだけどな・・・。
