計画
plan
ある事をするためにあらかじめ練った方法で、詳しいものも漠然としたものも含む。
scheme
仕事や活動の詳しい計画。
project
特に組織的な事業のための計画。
design
技術・技巧面の計画に重点があるが、しばしば術策・奸計も含意する。
blueprint
細微な点まで決定された完璧な計画。
schedule
時間的に割り当てられた計画、その一覧表。

plan

plot
1 the set of connected events on which a story, play, film, etc., is based
The plot was so complicated that I couldn’t follow it.
2 a secret plan to do something harmful, needing combined action by several people
The police have uncovered a plot to assassinate the president.
3 a small marked or measured piece of ground for building or growing things
I grow potatoes on my little plot of land.
scheme
1 a formal, official, or business plan
to propose a new health insurance scheme.
2 a system; an ordered arrangement
It’s hard to see any scheme in what this writer has written.
3 a clever dishonest plan
a scheme to escape taxes
project
a piece of work that needs skill, effort, and careful planning, esp. over a period of time
In their geography class, the children are doing a special project on North American Indians.

planはこれらの中で最も包括的で大まかな意味での計画を意味し、一方では具体的な青写真を意味することもあります。
The architect showed us the ground plan for the new building he has designed.
（建築家は、自身がデザインしたビルの平面図を我々に見せた）
plotは「小説やドラマの筋」「陰謀」といった意味に使われ、これ以外にも「レイアウトする」の意味もあります。
The plotter’s job was to plot out the course for a crosscountry race.
（プロッターの仕事は本土横断カーレースのコースを設定することだった）
schemeは計画に従って行動することを暗示する一方、物事の自然な成立を意味することもあります。
A traumatic experience changed his scheme of life.
（ひとつの苦い経験が彼の人生計画を変えてしまった）
projectは主としてグループで行われる大きな事業計画を指しますが、その他にも幅広い意味で使われます。
企画者個人の頭の中だけにある計画でも、現在進行中のものでもprojectを使えます。
I have a project to teach myself French in this year.
（今年はフランス語を独学する計画を立てている）
The entire project is doomed.
（この企画は成功の見込みはない）
